Fifteen works, one path
Every image drifting through the radar on our front page is a real work, held somewhere, made by someone — or by someone whose name the record failed to keep. This is the walk through them, from a rock face in fifth-century Sri Lanka to a bridal chamber in a Singapore museum.
Each entry cites the record it was built from. Where that record is thin — an unnamed weaver, an uncatalogued furnishing — it says so rather than filling the gap.
